    The APEX R5 M12 M4 AEG Carbine features ambidextrous parts, a tightbore barrel, and a modular rail system! From QD sling mounts to ergonomic hand stops, the rail system lets you mount your choice of tactical accessories. For range and accuracy, the APEX R5 M12 comes equipped with a 6.03x363mm tightbore inner barrel. This tightbore inner barrel provides the R5 M12 airsoft carbine with field-legal FPS, with ability to accurately target the opposition at greater ranges. The collapsing 5-position stock gives the rifle a comfortable feel in any size shooters hands while still being compact enough for CQB-style engagements. To makes it easier for both left- and right-handed players, the the APEX M4 AEG also features a fully ambidextrous fire selector switch. The included flip-up sights allow for easy target acquisition and, when folded down, don’t get in the way of airsoft sighting systems (red dot, reflex, magnified scopes, etc.). As weapon technology has drastically improved over the last decade, new an innovative features are being fielded with dramatic effect.     Battery Charger Recommendation: Although some fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery(overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
