The APEX R5 M10 Battlemod Generation 2 M4 is a mid-level AEG with a number of features that make it a versatile and high quality CQB rifle. The metal reciever has been machined with an aggressive design that gives this rifle the highly modern look of a top-tier tactical combat rifle.
The full metal build give this rifle a realistic weight and feel, while also adding a high level of durability, so you can be sure that this weapon will withstand the most intense skirmishes on the battlefield. Positive weapon control is ensured during battle thanks to an ambidextrous steel sling loop beneath at the castle nut, which allows a one-point tactical sling to be attached on either side of the receiver. The 10" KeyMod handguard offers tons of rail space for a high level of modularity, so you can connect a large number of tactical accessories to the handguard including Picatinny rail sections, foregrips, and flashlights.
Inside the the R5 M10 Battlemod, a reinforced metal gearbox contains the same internal components as the Mark 13 series AEGs. However, all plastic parts have been upgraded to durable metal and the electric blowback function has been removed which improves the lifespan of both the battery and piston. Complete with a quick change spring feature, you can quickly and easily adapt this rifle to any number of game types and play styles, from ourdoor mil-sim to indoor CQB ranges. A metal rotary style hop-up unit feeds BBs into the 268x6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, which pushes the effective range of the R5 M10 Battlemod AEG out past 200 feet. An inline MOSFET is installed behind the rear-wired gearbox to regulate the flow of electrical current through the wiring harness, and protect the trigger contacts from unnecessary wear. A Dean's plug is the standard battery connection, but the package also includes a mini-Tamiya connector to accommodate a vast array of power sources.

Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
