The base BI-3181 features a high-speed motor pre-installed from DBoys, the manufacturer, along with a high-power polymer gearbox for the best balance between value and performance on the market. We have chronograph verified this custom M4 AEG rifle to shoot on average at 260-300 FPS with 0.12g seamless performance BBs, hitting top figures of 311-312 FPS! Surprisingly, for the DBoys M4 3181 model, the rate of fire stays quite good at a more-than-respectable 650-700+ rounds per minute, even despite the bump in power for this year's new production run model. The additional launcher unit that comes along with the DBoys airsoft rifle is easily mountable onto the lower hand guard, which is similar to the the Stryke Full Metal M4 CQB 7-inch Free Float Rail System, and performs much like a high-powered shotgun unit, bursting a single BB with every shot at velocities upwards of 300 FPS.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic DBoys airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery(overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly,also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
