If you are looking to build a custom gearbox for your AK AEG, the Lonex Version 3 Gearbox 8mm Gearbox is a great place to start. This gearbox features a trivalent chromium plating that gives it a high sheen and serves to harden then shell, providing protection from fracturing. A unique design reinforces the front of the gearbox to further enhance the strength of the shell. Because of the design, a custom tappet plate is included that functions flawlessly with this Version 3 gearbox shell. If you break the tappet plate, regular replacements can be installed with some minor modification. There is no limit to how you can set up your AK AEG when you use a custom gearbox, and this particular gearbox provide great flexibility, durability, and reliability.
