SRC Airsoft M4A1 Carbine Full Metal Gearbox AEG Rifle - SR4 Series
SRC CompSpec
SRC's CompSpec series of full metal gearbox, high-performance AEGs are designed for the value-minded Airsoft enthusiast who wants both quality and performance at prices that were previously unheard of. For all too long, Airsoft Megastore has heard customers say time and time again that they'd love to get their hands on a SRC AEG with a full metal gearbox, but "ONLY IF" pricing was better. Well, we've definitely taken these comments into direct consideration in carrying the new CompSpec line of AEGs, designed to take the AEG market by storm even in a time of uncertainty in the Airsoft market.
Simply put, CompSpec, or Competion-Spec SRC models are durable AEG models with high performance full metal gearboxes that are strategically tuned to deliver upwards of 350-380 FPS of power and stay BELOW most indoor/outdoor Airsoft field limits and hence, are "field-legal" without modifications. Oh, and in case you haven't already noticed from their AMAZING pricing points, CompSpec AEGs have to all of the above while delivering UNBEATABLE VALUE.
AMS x SRC
As the #1 fastest-growing Airsoft retailer in the nation, Airsoft Megastore has made a huge commitment to SRC in order to secure top-tiered volume discounts on the entire CompSpec line of AEGs. We are proud to carry the entire SRC CompSpec line of high-performance AEGs at the lowest prices on the market, bar none.
Our take: The SRC CompSpec M4A1 Carbine, the quintessential primary weapon, is a realistic, durable, and full size AEG rifle from SRC that features a full metal gearbox, a high-performance cylinder crafted from aluminum, and a high torque motor. The rear stock, in typical M4 fashion, is retractable/adjustable (4-position) for comfort, and the carry handle is removable (revealing a receiver-top rail on which you can mount optics).
One of the most unique features about the SRC M4A1 Carbine is its receiver. Unlike older ABS receivers such as receivers found on Tokyo Marui AEGs, the SRC M4A1 sports a fiber polymer reinforced ABS receiver, which means a higher level of build quality and more significantly, DURABILITY, all-around. The receiver features a higher density than most standard receivers, and as a result, is more durable and less prone to cracking or breaking due to an inadvertent drop or collision.
As always, the M4's retractable/adjustable rear stock maximizes comfort and versatility on the field. With the rear stock extended, take on outdoor games in full-force fury. With the rear stock retracted, CQB matches are conquered with ease, as you glide through narrow doorways and around corners with the agility only your compacted rifle can provide you.
Unbeatable Value: In an Airsoft market full of rising prices, it is extremely refreshing to find a FULL METAL GEARBOX, highly durable and realistic AEG rifle for such a bargain, let alone one from SRC, one of the most reputable and well-regarded Airsoft manufacturers to come out of Taiwan. In our opinion, the entire CompSpec line of AEGs was built to appease Airsofters who wanted to get an AFFORDABLE SRC.
Ammo type: Seamless 0.20g or heavier (0.23g, 0.25g, 0.26g, 0.28g, etc) BBs. For maximum performance and accuracy, Airsoft Megastore recommends GoldenBall ProSlick BBs which carry perfect spherical consistency and density, available at Airsoft Megastore for the lowest price on the market, guaranteed.
Note: Battery and charger are NOT included, as is the case with most SRC-manufactured AEGs. For the best value and performance, we recommend getting a 8.4v mini battery and a universal smart charger.
Battery Charger Recommendation: This AEG DOES NOT come with a battery or charger. Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle can use standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery(overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
