Most M16 and M4 AEGs come with an uncomfortable straight metal trigger guard, which can "bite" into your hand causing discomfort on the airsoft field. The rounded design of the APS trigger guard reduces hand fatigue, and gives a more modern and tactical look to your M4/ M16 AEG. The trigger guard is very easy to install, and replaces your uncomfortable stock AEG trigger guard.
